Patrick J. Harris, DO
A board-certified in family medicine and his clinical expertise spans the full scope of primary care, with special emphasis on osteopathic medicine. He is an expert in skin surgeries — including benign and malignant skin lesion biopsy and removal — toenail surgeries and joint injections. He also provides care for cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, high cholesterol, and heart arrhythmias; sports medicine and nonsurgical musculoskeletal disorders; respiratory infections; and geriatric medicine to care for the unique needs of senior patients.
He offers osteopathic manipulation treatment, known as OMT, to address a wide variety of conditions such as arthritis and headaches, as well as musculoskeletal injuries and aches that include lower back, neck, and joint pain. OMT can help improve patients’ mobility and range of motion, and it can be used in combination with other medical therapies to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Harris earned his medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and completed his internship and residency in family practice at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Harris contributes to medical education as an adjunct preceptor for the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM).
